Betsy Crosby graduated from Yale University, where she received her B.A. in English cum laude, and the University of Virginia School of Law. After retiring from the practice of law, she became a freelance writer and author. Her articles and essays have appeared in various newspapers and magazines, including The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Veranda, Preservation, Atlanta magazine’s Home, and Alabama Heritage. She is an advocate and champion of historic preservation concepts, urban forestry and community planning.
